Introducing Challenges and 1,000,000 miles logged!

Yesterday was National Running Day and a lot of you celebrated by getting a head start on a new dailymile feature: Challenges!

Curious who among your friends can run the fastest 5K? Who on dailymile can log 100 cycling miles the quickest this month? Think you can log more miles this month than I can? 😉 Start a challenge and let’s find out!

    While this is indeed a unique feature, I would like to see the basic features needed for the workout like maps fully featured. For example, the maps still don’t have a follow-the-road and elevations of the route features. I have to go to runningahead.com to create my maps and to check the distance and elevation before a run or bike in a new route. May be you should base your features on users’ preference by listing all of the impending ones and getting a feedback – an lean way of development may be. I am not sure if you are already doing this though.
